The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) provides targeted support for early-career scholars to advance their research during the summer months.
- Award Amount: Up to $3,000 to support summer research activities.
- Eligibility: Open to tenure-track assistant professors and postdoctoral fellows.
- Research Scope: Funding is intended to support research projects focused on Latin America and/or the Caribbean.
- Reporting & Engagement: * Recipients must submit a report outlining how funds were spent by September 18, 2027.
Faculty receiving the full $3,000 award are encouraged to engage with the CLACS community through events or committee service in the 2026-27 academic year.
